The slow fan turns above our naked bodies with a low, safe hum;
Draped on the bed, I feel the soft air lift the light hairs on my legs;
The fulfillment we share reflects the simple dimensions of our life together;
Parts love and physical, emotion and spiritual, and parts more;
I move to touch the delicate, infinite swirls of your hair;
As tiny pools fill their tight curls, nestled just so between your legs;
I pause and smile, knowing how fortunate I am to have you.
