December 2003 Writing poems Q: I LOVE your poetry. I've always wanted to write poems, but I am stuck with a blank page of nothing. How can I develop? A: I think part of the success in poetry is simply writing down things you really want to tell someone, but for some reason can't (or haven't yet). For example, think for a moment. Think about the love you ALWAYS wanted to have. What would you say to that person about how important he/she is? What words would reflect the joy you experience from gazing into his eyes and seeing everything youve always dreamt? Becoming more passionate Q: How can I become a more passionate lover? I have a boyfriend, and we click at times, but the passion isn't there. Worse, I think I'm most of the problem. A: Then become part of the solution! Like most all things sexual, the one ingredient that will help you become more passionate (and more sensual, physical, etc.) is confidence! It's the one thing that separates people who truly live from merely the pretenders. Work on being confident in all aspects of your everyday life (to include work, at the gym, and elsewhere) and an improvements to your passionate life will follow. Confidence: live it! |
